Associate Ministers
Reverend Andrew Pruitte Jr.

Reverend Andrew Pruitte Jr. is a lifelong member of Macedonia and has been active in several ministries that include the Male Chorus, Youth and Young Adult Ministries, Usher Board, and Deacon Board. He is a gifted and spiritual teacher for both Sunday School and Wednesday night services.
​
In 1989, Brother Pruitte was called in the ministry; he attended the American Baptist College where he graduated Cum Laude. In 1990, he was licensed and ordained. He was lead pastor at the Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Fulton, Kentucky and at the Clark Street Missionary Baptist Church in Huntington, Tennessee.

Reverend Pruitte also proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He is married to Barbara Lloyd Pruitte and they have four children and 11 grandchildren.

Reverend Dr. Lonnie Black was ordained as Deacon at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in 1975. In 1976, He accepted his call to preach God’s word and he was licensed and ordained in 1977. In 1979, he accepted the office of Senior Pastor of St. Paul Baptist Church, Lexington, Tennessee where he served 19 years. While at St. Paul, Dr. Black served as Dean of the Obion River District Association. In 1997, He was led by the Holy Spirit to begin a new fellowship, the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Lexington, Tennessee.

During his tenure, he received his Bachelor of Religious Arts in Theology, Master of Religious Arts in Christian Education and Doctorate of Religious Philosophy in Christian Psychology all were received from the Jacksonville Theological Seminary, Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Black retired from Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in 2012 after 15 years. He and his wife, returned home to Macedonia where he serves as an Associate Minister.

Reverend Richard Blakemore

​Reverend Richard Blakemore was born on May 31, 1945 in Gibson County, Tennessee. His parents were Marion and Lois Blakemore who had fifteen children. Richard was the fourth child. He is the proud father of four, three daughters and one son.
